Sustainability Committee

D&G Machinery has always been highly valuing sustainable development, pursuing environmental protection and going green, striving to become a leader in environmental friendly asphalt road construction. We also encourage employees to actively participate in environmental protection. In order to achieve the company's long-term sustainable development goals, and cooperate with the Group's annual sustainable development report submitted to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in compliance with new international standards, the company decided to formally establish a "Sustainable Development Committee" to develop the company's sustainable development direction, guidelines and policies. The Committee will formulate a comprehensive sustainable development policy for the company, monitor the implementation of the relevant policies, and report to the board of directors of the head office. The "Committee" has an inter-departmental working group responsible for advancing and implementing relevant work under specific sustainable development policies.

Going green D&G Technology Sustaiablity Committee

The company's Sustainability Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Committee") is chaired by the CEO, whose members include the company's directors, chief financial officer, company executives and employees. The committee assists the board of directors in overseeing and managing all sustainable development matters related to daily operations and risk management, and ensures that the sustainable development strategy is consistent with the development goals of D&G Technology. The committee will review the stakeholders’ feedback, update relevant policies, and report to the board of directors on relevant sustainability issues for decision making purposes.

In order to further promote the sustainable development work, in line with the company's strategy of sustainable development governance, the committee has set up a number of sustainable development working groups, with the participation of senior management to ensure that sustainable development is implemented in a holistic manner to enhance our performance in various sustainable development areas. In addition, it also cooperates with external stakeholders to urge them to participate in the company's sustainable development policy and progress.

Low Carbon Living, Green Mobility

D&G Technology has been the sponsor of Hong Kong Green Day since 2016, participating in various programs. The Group's production base in Langfang, Hebei Province also responded to environmental protection by carrying out internal publicity for World Environment Day.

D&G Technology supports Earth Hour 2023

March 25, 2023 is the Earth Hour light-off day that D&G Technology has insisted on for 11 years. D&G Technology once again expressed our support for environmental protection with practical actions.

D&G Technology won the 2nd runner-up in Green Run 2022

To further demonstrate D&G Technology's commitment to environmental protection and charity, the Group formed a team to join Green Run 2022 organized by Green Council. The team altogether finished 50km run on 20 Dec 2022.

D&G Technology supports the 19th Green Carnival

D&G Technology has sponsored Green Carnival since 2017. Organized by Green Council, the 19th Green Carnival was held on 15 January 2023.

7 Consecutive Years – Corporate Green Governance Award

D&G Technology takes environmental factors into consideration during daily operation. The Group won the “Corporate Green Governance Award – Corporate Vision” in Hong Kong Green Awards 2022, seven consecutive years since 2016.
