Mr. Hung Nang Choi, chairman of the board, was born to an ordinary Chinese family in Cambodia. He returned to China to study in his teens, determined to serve his motherland with a “Science Dream”.
After graduation, he worked in the Research Institute, Ministry of Railways and involved in many key projects, including the construction of the Chengdu-Kunming Railway, and then worked in Hong Kong.
1970s-1990s: Before the Birth of D&G Machinery
In 1979, in response to the national policy of Reform and Opening Up, he went back to the mainland for opportunities, hoping to contribute to the development of the country with science and technology.
In the 1970s and 1980s, Mr. Choi was engaged in the development of industrial membrane technology and smart meters; from mid-1980s to late 1990s, he strived to introduce well-known construction machinery equipment and technologies from Europe and the United States into China, accelerating the development of the national construction machinery industry; In the 1990s, he participated in the International Bidding for the Construction of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River in China and won with the only "Outstanding Plan". He also introduced concrete mixing plants for the construction of the Three Gorges Dam.
